as always, KJN doesn't understand things.
If the console can't run the application, because it REQUIRES access to a subscription, its performance is "doesn't work" or "zero."
This same purchase on PC "works" with no additional cost.
That's why in my post, you have to include PS+ to have a comparable feature set.

Every time I see Jacob compare cost of consoles vs PC he includes the full RRP for PlayStation 5 Pro and online multiplayer subscription on one side, and discounted PC parts or fire sales of the other side (never RPP). How convenient.

Let's start with PS5 Pro. In order to get close to the features available with the PC, you HAVE to include online multiplayer. If you don't they aren't 'equivalent' devices. Assume ~$70 a year for PS+ (adjust that figure accordingly) and your PS5 Pro costs ~$1250 [🧵2/5]

I'm glad PS5 Pro users get access to features PC has had for half a decade at this point. Putting it all into context though: Per DF- 4K Pro mode (60Hz TV) - 1440p upscaled to 4K 30FPS 4K Pro Mode (120Hz TV) - lower than 1440p upscaled to 4K 40FPS Congrats, guys. I can do that with my RTX 5060 LP. Screenshot is 1440p, DLAA, PS5 Pro RT Mode settings (Per DF) on my Ryzen 5500 + RTX 5060 (NOT MY PRO RIG). I can replicate this on my 9060 XT if you wish.

Bro. You see that quick resume and Backward compatibility that the Xbox has? It trumps everything that the PlayStation has.
You can turn off your game, unplug it from the socket for 2 months and when you plug it back in, your game will resume from where you last stopped like you didn’t turn it off at all.
No loading up or anything. Just jump right back into the game.
The only thing PlayStation has over Xbox is better exclusives for choice of games like The last of us, Ghost of Tsushima, Spiderman, God of War, Uncharted and the rest
