A dealer just quit in the middle of a live hand in my MTT at my table. Never seen anything like it. Player not in the hand is harassing the dealer because he stepped away and had his hand mucked preflop. He keeps going at the dealer, there's a big pot on the river, he says (1/2)

Atlas Shrugged is extremely overwriten.
In every spot where it could've been "Hank smiled," it's "Hank stood at the railing, watching the flames spit up from the boiling pits below, reminding him of when he was a boy and could feel the fires up close, so scared of them before, but now he couldn't help but let a smile escape..."
There are several parts that read like Fifty Shades-lite with pages of cheap BDSM.
The names are cartoonish. Balph?
There's an entire prison break section that follows a chapter with a disaster so absurd that Clint Eastwood refused to adapt it.
Then, if you make it through all of that, there's a 70-page rant by John Galt that starts with cavemen making fire and ends in the stars.
All that to say it’s still easily one of the most important books this side of the Bible.

A few good books worth reading: - Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand - a classic that celebrates builders. Once you read it, you’ll notice the same characters and events taking place today. - The Changing World Order by Ray Dalio - great for understanding how civilizations rise and fall and how crypto can help create better countries. - From Third World to First by Lee Kuan Yu (founder of Singapore) - talks about building a new country, worth reading for understanding nation-building.

French fries come from notoriously one of the heaviest-yielding, easiest-to-grow, long-storing crops of all time. Their preparation involves simple slicing, soaking, and frying. A teenager can do it. The fruit salad involves shipping in and combining ingredients from literally all around the world, cutting them up in individual shapes while they're still fresh for the week or so they last, then assorting. All fruit that is harder to harvest and tend than potatoes.
Then pretending you're surprised that the food with a larger transport cost, a smaller crop per acreage, more time consuming to grow, and prepare costs MORE? This is exactly as rational as arguing that a pound of ground beef and a pound of filet mignon come from the same cow so should cost the same.
Yes, the fruit costs more, and IMO is worth it. But it's not some plot. If you look below, both dishes are made of fish. SHOULDN'T THEY COST THE SAME?
