Aprovechando el HISTORICO Y APABULLANTE trailer de #DuneParteTres, quiero reivindicar uno de los mejores inicios que he vivido en una sala de cine. Este comienzo de #DuneParteDos, es historia del cine de ciencia ficción. APABULLANTE Y MAGISTRAL.

Europa nos vende cada vez que puede. Y los que pagamos la fiesta siempre somos los mismos. Con el acuerdo de Mercosur se ve perfectamente de qué va la película: es un intercambio de intereses donde a los países del sur nos han vendido. Alemania solo quiere llevar sus máquinas y su tecnología a Sudamérica. A cambio, deja que los de Mercosur traigan sus productos para aquí. A Alemania le va de lujo porque coloca su industria y encima compra el pollo más barato en el súper. Pero a los que joden es a nosotros. Aquí vivimos de la agricultura, de la ganadería, de la pesca… Y el ganadero de aquí no puede competir con los precios de allí. Lo que más me molesta de Europa es que nunca va a haber unión de verdad. Nos da igual lo que le pase al vecino. Un alemán no se siente español. Un español no se siente francés. Pero un americano sí se siente americano. Ese es el resumen de lo que pasa con Mercosur. Estoy harto de que siempre sea igual: • Nos joden con la energía. • Nos joden con la agricultura y la ganadería. • Nos joden con la pesca. • Deciden ellos dónde se ponen las fábricas. • Deciden ellos dónde se hace el I+D. Parece que los países del sur solo estamos para recibir órdenes y que nos desmantelen el sector primario mientras el norte hace caja. Llega un momento en el que, por mucho que digan que nos ayudan, dan ganas de mandarlos a la mierda. Una unión donde solo ganan los mismos de siempre no es una unión.

The world is changing right in front of us and no one knows it. Texas is running its world-class economy on 70% renewables, right now. Gas is there if we need it, but for today, we can save the fuel for another day.

@BadAceMike @CAgovernor Not really, because most charging sessions happen at home overnight, unlike with gas that requires driving to a gas station and using a gas nozzle. Most of those electric nozzles are only used by people doing long road trips, or people that can't charge at home (e.g. apartment)

So you think more charging stations than gas nozzles is a victory... given refueling times? It takes a good hour or more to achieve the same distance that 3 minutes at the pump provides. AKA: if we converted 100% to electric today, we’d still need massively more charging stations and power grid upgrades. Meanwhile @elonmusk needs credit.

Lo que necesita el pais son gobiernos serios de partidos de centro con profesionales capacitados (PSOE o PP) estables.

@Admaye1 @jose_elias_nvr Si que hay emprendedores extranjeros en Espana, muchas startups. Los fundadores de Glovo, una de las que ha crecido mas rapido, son dos extranjeros que viven en Barcelona. Lo solucionamos haciendo que los Espanoles aprendan idiomas, vivan en el extranjero, y atrayendo extranjeros

@WilliamShatner I go to the Sierra often and we do 1 stop of half an hour where we get a meal and use the bathrooms. We don't have time to finish our meal before the car is fully charged.

And for the #teslarites who don’t understand 500 miles. Time is money. How long does it take to pump a tank of gas? 4-5 mins versus 30. Early last week I went up to the Yosemite area (about 300 miles.) I got up there, did my thing and got gas (5 mins) and drove back. With a Tesla. It would be drive up (maybe on one charge) charge up 20-30 mins, do my thing. Drive back, stop along the way to recharge (again probably another 20 mins…) That’s too long. 500 would be one recharge so it’s 10 mins gas versus 29-30 mins which I would consider.🤷🏼

@verdugocop @martinvars @brhodes Not really. Large TVs, smartphones, cars used to be luxury items and now they're common, almost everybody has one or more. Housing is expensive because Spain stopped building after the 2007 bubble. Just build more as the population grows and prices will go down.

@redamon8 @martinvars @brhodes Where do you live? We Spaniards have lost purchasing power, we don't have access to housing, the healthcare system is overwhelmed, the average salary is €1200-€1300, and rent is €1150 on average. Could you really live like this?

Pedro Sanchez has continually shown how to lead in this era. Other world leaders should take note.
