I'm beginning to wonder if I should classify peanut butter as a luxury item. It's my wife's fault because she makes me buy the chunky variety, and you can't spread it as thinly.

@Ajarncom @seanchk Just buy a second air-fryer, we have 2, one for inside and one outside for more odorous cooking.

@seanchk You write off returning Lazada goods because it's too much hassle. You bought an air fryer and now realize you need a bigger one. Sean, you and I would get on so well. 😆

Ordered a single flat sheet from Lazada. Expected it to be cotton and a 100% polyester thing arrived that would be like sleeping under a plastic sheet. Writing off the money because returns are stupidly complicated. Where can I buy decent flat sheets that aren't 1000's of baht?

Anyone retired yet ? How long for now ? How's it going? Have you gone back to part time work because of boredom.? Are you dying to retire soon? #retirementliving

Ridiculous value! Can I leave the review at that? I had to do a double take when I saw the RRP - wow! An articulate and expressive wine, this Head Wines Heart & Home take on the classic Australian claret blend is a showstopper. buff.ly/71OeFnb

Tun said the durian is so cheap this year. 80 baht per kilo for the much-loved Bang Saphan variety at this roadside stall (native to this province) The seller asked me if I liked durian. It's in the list of the top 20 questions to farangs, a few notches below 'can you eat spicy food?'

@redbigot This is the first time I've seen these wines so good to hear your thoughts on the 21. Of these two, I thought the First Pick was a better wine. Better oak handling

If you enjoy bathing in old school Barossa Shiraz, this 1847 Wines Grand Pappy's would be right up your alley. With all the hallmarks you'd expect, the density and concentration are hard to miss. buff.ly/Gaze2q6

@Ajarncom I read my books on an old (2012) 7 inch ASUS Nexus 7 Android tablet that refuses to die. I have another newer small Android tablet ready for when it does die or I drop it fatally.

I genuinely didn't know there was a free Kindle app, where you can just read all the books in your library for free. I was just about to bite the bullet and spend too much on another Kindle.

I’m sick of these “Trumpet of Patriots” texts. Isn’t this harassment? Stalking? I never signed up for these. I realise if I give a business my number they can text me but they have an opt out option. These blasted Palmer texts don’t allow u to stop them & u can’t even block!

@robbyyy @TPG_Telecom They won't / can't do anything. NBN sets the speed brackets, if you have FTTN you likely will get more than 20mbs, but a lot less then the 50mbs tier you have to pay to get 30mbs. If you continue to use the tier you are deemed to accept the limitation.

Hey @TPG_Telecom you are constantly ramping the cost of your services, yet I’ve been consistently getting 7-9mb/s download speed instead of promised 50mb/s and we have only been getting intermittent connection for the past 5-6 days. It’s currently down again. Not good enough.

@Peter_Fitz I've had an e-bike for a year or so, it's a legal 25kmh unit. On my 25-35km rides (mostly on bike paths) my average speed is 24-25kmh compared to my previous bike without electric boost where I averaged 20-23 kmh depending on wind speed/direction.

I love e-bikes and suspect I'll get one. But on a suburban street, a joyous fourteen year-old just whipped by me on one. He had helmet, & was within law - but my point remains. On such streets, little difference between them & motor-bikes - for which he'd need a licence?

@Peter_Fitz Some of them used to put the full cans on their heads, hat was padding, and flat. Occasionally a rusted can bottom collapsed...

In old Australian parlance, why would a "shit-carters hat" be particularly flat? As in, "the sea was as flat as a shit-carter's hat".

First 'fail' with the new air fryer. I heated up a cooked chicken pot pie for around 10 minutes. The crust was well done (almost smoking) but the contents were barely luke-warm. Microwave came to the rescue.
