Heron spotted in a Redbricks garden this morning! We have an amazing selection of birds who visit the estate but we've not seen a Heron before.

What is going on in Manchester? A councillor being aggressive/condescending to a passionate campaigner pointing out her department put up a map on a consultation site that is apparently out of date! You gotta despair at the behaviour of our elected officials!

The objections are STILL in place. Have been due to go to court for over a year. But project allowed to go ahead anything. Which I think it's maybe a bit illegal.

We were told it was designed to reduce pollution but no modelling seemed to have been done. We kept asking for proof it would actually improve air near us. The 'green' bits like replanting trees haven't been done.

These glowing stems belong to a rather fancy member of the spider plant family, and is similarly easy to look after. Also arrived on #houseplantthursday are some aloes with huge flower buds, calatheas that appear to be hand painted, and jasmines full of gorgeous scent.
