It’s clearly, obviously real. But everyone wants to hinge acknowledging its existence along political lines. Social media addiction is real too. And video game addiction. Observable process addictions that people develop. They are distinct from any moral judgment of the behavior.

Porn addiction isn't real and has never been real, this is an extremely closed issue. People who claim to be addicted watch less and feel more withdrawal effects than the average person who watches seven times more and thinks they're not. No addiction works like that. It's shame.
