This loss will be devastating with everything LSU has poured in to this game. Despite how well they've played lately, their inability to close looks to still be their achilles heal.

@Tigers_On_Deck Yeskie lacks the ability to coach guys to win games. He coaches guys to win strikeout competitions but that can lead to absolute nukes if you’re off by just a little which is too much to ask of young pitchers. We saw the same shit it 24 and 25 25 we just had to lock down starters

Idk man. All I see is an offense that carries over to next year, and a pitching staff that needs to be overhauled and developed. 2026 LSU is 1 game closer to being in the books.

@Cauble The infield is young. They’ll come along. So will some of this pitching staff. Yeskie needs to adjust his pitching to the strength of his pitchers not the strength of his coaching.

The lack of development for a handful of LSU pitchers making that leap from one year to the next is right up there with the infield defense as far as disappointments this season. Just needed guys to be dudes and they've shrunk in the moment all season long.
