@mrsamjones88 It’s maybe the only sport where a novice can compete against a world rated opponent and the most dangerous. In terms of the novice can not only get beat easily but could be permanently damaged or killed!! Money talks sadly

If it’s a genuine real fight I hope Jake’s people /team actually realise the potential consequences for Paul. This isn’t a 70 year old Mike Tyson or Tommy fury this a legit top 5 heavyweight in the world the very recent former unified heavyweight champion of the world Anthony Joshua who hits like a fucking mule.

I’ve never bought into eubank the ‘boxer’. Felt his strengths were always his workrate, his strength and his chin. He isn’t strong on the legs. He’s got no workrate. And these days looks vulnerable. So reverting to boxing on legs that don’t look strong isn’t great. #EubankBenn2

I think it’s the board of controls job is to protect fighters and the integrity reputation and safety of the sport. If you’re son wanted to do something dangerous I’m sure you’d try to stop him because you love him

@kurt_dunne @stivbuchanan @davidcoldwell Yes I would have stopped Foreman fighting in his 50s!! Boxing is a young man’s game. Foreman took a lot of punishment in that fight you can’t shake off at that age

@kurt_dunne @stivbuchanan @davidcoldwell Which is exactly why it needs to be taken out of the fighters hands they don’t have the intelligence to make that kind of decision and the promoters are too greedy to give a shit. If you saw the first fight you know it’s not safe too late when a boxer is dead or damaged
