As the year comes to an end, we had 29 peer-reviewed medical publications from our Hepatology unit, including international clinical socities conference abstracts. Three were accepted and In Press, pending online-first publication. Six are in peer-review currently and another two are being prepared for submission for next week. This is why I do not have time to make reels. But I do find sometime to engage with Twitter crowd daily because I am more comfortable with the written format. I dont even have to do this you know. I dont need to fight with people who misinform, I dont need to "become the bully" or take that (righteous) stand others simply refuse to take or even design and conduct tough public health projects (people called me a 'beggar' when we asked for funding from public for the Citizens Projects). Unlike some of my trolls claim, I do have a day job. I do not have any jealousy towards my peers (I do not have time to even think about such silly matters). And one fine day, if I just quit Twitter, I can go back to what I do everyday without missing anything much - which is seeing patients, diagnosing complex liver diseases (gives an adrenaline kick), counselling families, teaching my students and fellows, designing, supervising, writing and submitting clinical research and most importantly, working on my book contracts, one of which is scheduled to be released early next year. I have nothing to take. Only to give. Just wanted to put this out here.

Waste management is such a big opportunity in #India .. lack of discipline on the part of the citizens.. pass any town, village, city.. most of the waste is collected and burnt at the end of the day.. #swachhbharat seems to be out of focus of any govt.

Hey @googlemaps .. Driving in India after a while.. Observed the signboards in India are primarily based on major landmarks, whereas the google maps use the road names for directions.. Can the maps sync with the signboards instead of just mentioning the road names ? @Google
