@Plumalix It shouldn t work on crit attacks but with Crit Chance, so it makes sense in a crit build also when you dont have 100% crit

This item needs a rework but not a huge one imo: Let only crit autos decrease the cooldowns instead, so champs like Volibear can't abuse it randomly unless they commit to building more crit, but also it stops baiting ADCs from rushing it 2nd and deal 0 dmg for the sake of CDs

25.19 Full Patch Preview! Jungle Champs - There was a bit of confusion yesterday with the listed Diana, Brand changes - These are mostly focused on Jungle, since their primary roles are still a bit stronger; this is in an effort to open up the meta a little more - For Lee, we're looking at a power neutral change to increase a bit of his early skirmishing power at the cost of his mid-late game armor Bot - This patch we're trying to do a bit of a bit of a meta shift away from Yunara/Sivir (they'll still be viable), but some of the more spellcaster oriented ADC's are going to rise up as a result - There are also a few champs like Draven and Jinx that have been a bit weaker than their typical resting winrates and mastery curves would indicate - They're not super far off, so they're just getting a bit of a pro focused nudge in places; Draven in his early fighting potential and Jinx in her ability to play in matchups at level 1 or combo off ally CC Mid Champs - Some of the burst champs have become a bit weaker - While this is a more Pro focused movement for now, we're aware that there are some non-pro champs that need a similar treatment - There are a lot of them and will require more of a concerted effort - Our strategy for this in the short term is to create a more clear segmentation between champs who take more durable builds (eg. ROA builds) and champs who are a little more squishy and burst like in nature - This will mean over time that some of the more durable champs will pay some tradeoffs in damage and the champs that are more burst oriented will become a bit more squishy in order to be allowed to have that level of burst

@LeagueOfLeaks Make the book with more swaps : to get the same max swap time reduction you need to use all the summoner's spells.

Death’s Dance is going to be the most popular 1st item choice for all AD bruisers in 3 weeks or less, and the reason why is because of the ‘Grasp Effect’ What is the Grasp Effect? Simple. For years, all bruiser top laners would always take conqueror. Then, some people started taking Grasp of the Undying and an interesting thing happened; People learned that if you go Grasp and the enemy doesn’t, you win the lane. - You and the enemy don’t go Grasp? Skill matchup. - You go Grasp and the enemy doesn’t? You win. - You and the enemy both take Grasp? Skill matchup. So over the course of several patches, every toplaner started taking Grasp because the lane was locked to a standstill. Grasp was so unbelievable OP that it legitimately forced top laners to take it because they would lose if they didn’t… And nowadays, Death’s Dance is the same for Junglers. For almost all bruiser junglers, you typically want to get tanky. The problem, though, is that most bruiser items that are commonly built nowadays (Eclipse) suck at accomplishing this. As a result, it’s only a matter of time until Junglers realize that DD does a 10x better job of accomplishing that goal; And that time is now. Since I started doing DD/Maw rush Hecarim in Korea, I’ve been feeling something that I legitimately haven’t felt since Season 13. And that something is the Death’s Dance effect. Mark my words, 3 weeks until this item is a staple rush on most, if not all, AD bruisers.

Patch 15.17 Full Preview! Communication - Seen a lot of energy around engaging with members of the Dev team recently (and a certain very active person :) ) - A few helpful contacts for certain areas who are active with updates - Everyone is very excited to communicate with y'all and we aspire to be one of the best communicating dev teams out there! General - @RiotMeddler , @RiotPabro , @RiotPupulasers , @LoLDev, @drewlevin, @RiotPhroxzon Balance, SR - @RiotPhroxzon , @RiotPhreak, @RiotAuberaun Matchmaking, Player Behavior, Ranked - @RiotPhroxzon , @drewlevin Champions - @Squad5lol , @RiotAugust , @MaxwellPerlman Modes - @RiotPhlox , @ed_corte , @RiotRogueFool New Players - @maddizzlee , @riotiksar (though he's been mostly tweeting about food recently!!) Comms - @CadenHouse , @ggmattb, @RiotRiru , @FerikaBoss Alt Builds - Our alt builds this patch aim to add spell oriented builds for Irelia, Lane Kayn, Vayne JG - We've historically tried to make lane Nilah work, but it's too hard to balance her capabilities in both bot lane and top lane simultaneously, so we're opting for bot/jungle instead Gwen - We landed on a set of changes that make it easier for champs that should have better matchups against her to succeed (eg. Jax, Jayce, Akali, Ambessa, Aurora, Singed if you like cooking, etc.) - The slow to tag champs and run them down and being hard to push out in early lane are our avenues to hit some of these aspects down Kassadin - Kassadin can be pretty ineffective in the early game and so that lets him sit a bit higher than he otherwise would at equivalent power level, so we're giving him a buff to better live up to that fantasy Morg - Our changes last patch undershot a little bit, so we're adding a bit more to her this patch - Morg has found it pretty hard to put out much pressure in lane and we think we can go harder on the changes we did last patch Master Yi - Now that Kraken on-hits work on Yi work correctly, he's a bit too strong, so we're nerfing it

Anyone who says this change "removes skill expression" fails to realize two things: 1. It simply levels the playing field between overlay users and League "purists" (no overlays, e.g. me). 2. League has a practically infinite skill ceiling; removing tedious but necessary levels from the mental stack just raises the average quality of play.

25.8 Full Preview! Mel - Mel's power budget distribution re: abilities is in a pretty good spot, so we're adding more power to her to bolster her winrate without pushing her poke or ranged all-in damage - We like her E being more about utility/catch and Q being the thing to dodge for damage - We're being cautious around perceived frustration here so putting power in less frustrating power Gwen - Our changes to Gwen have landed shape pretty well, moving power out of her being a scaling full squishy AP one shot champ - She's a little too present right now, so we're taking her down a tad, but it's good to have another AP fighter in there to allow for more comp diversity and keep certain champs in check Annie - Changes to Annie are aimed at increasing her satisfaction by moving a bit of power out of Tibbers' sustained damage which can be hard to feel and into some of her spells - Also adding some Pen to her kit innately so she's a bit better at killing tanks with multiple rotations and doesn't need to one shot squishies as hard as a result which is often frustrating for players (she'll still be good at it though) Syndra - Syndra's builds have been pretty heavily in the MS kite builds and we're moving power budget out of that and a bit more into her actual burst purchases so she has to build a bit more damage and AP Zoe - Zoe has been pretty absent for a while; giving her a bit of a bump to her waveclear as she's rather telegraphed right now and can't push tempo as much as it feels like she should Xerath - Changes last patch didn't quite hit the mark, so we're giving a small buff to his Q and his passive, which is mid skewed - Wanting to skew a little more towards mid Tristana - She's crept up a little, we're happy she's not meta driving mid, but just generally too powerful

Patch 25.7 Preview! Systems - Catalyst has been weak for a while, especially compared to Lost Chapter which feels like a significantly better purchase - We're not looking to decrease the price as that makes it too good at stalling action on the 1100 spike, so just looking to increase its actual efficiency - Umbral has also been pretty weak for a while with Pyke being the only user - Recall with symbiotic soles has been an intended but too powerful interaction, we like where it is on supports, but the mid lane use cases have been too powerful, so we're taking it down a tad Gwen - Gwen's changes have had the effect we wanted in terms of skew (especially adding her back as a more effective pick in top lane in high skill play), however a bit too effective, even after the micropatch so we're taking her down a bit more Naafiri - Naafiri is still pretty strong, even after the micropatch, so we're taking her down a bit further down - So far, she's pretty low ELO skewed; we're looking to bring her early game down and especially in jungle - So far her damage is pretty high, which we're keeping it there but making her work a little harder to access that damage More on other champs tmrw
