IMO: Texas Tech not getting a top 8 seed came down to its non-conference schedule. I also wonder if some SEC teams avoided scheduling them because of the way Tech handled the portal last year and the potential RPI hit. And then canceling the game vs. Florida State because of flight issues probably didn’t help them either.
