I almost deleted it after 12 hours... The numbers were low, the silence was so loud, and I was this close to pulling it down. But I left it and then I came online 18hours later... Nigerians showed up. Africans showed up. People of colour from corners of this earth I have never seen showed up. Follows, amplifications, criticisms that made me think harder, suggestions that made the vision bigger, collaborations I did not dare to dream of. I am shaking a little writing this. This was never about me. It was never about the numbers. It was about the child somewhere who will one day open an atlas and see themselves. Not approximated. Not translated. Themselves in black skin, brown skin, albino skin. Every shade this earth made when it decided to be generous. They will learn in their own image. They will see science wearing their complexion. They will not have to imagine themselves in another colour That is what you amplified. That is what your retweet carried. Thank you does not feel like enough. But it is what I have right now, and I mean it from the floor of my chest. We are just getting started...

Bro, coding is not a new thing in Ghana. There are thousands of great people in Ghana that learnt how to do it without Gov programs. What they need is affordable internet, faster internet, and opportunities for them. Even now, it is much easier to do by yourself than before.

I am Nigerian, and right now my dream is bigger than me. Only about 4.5% of medical literature globally are represented on Black skin. That means millions of Black patients are learning from systems that barely look like them. Medical students study diseases on skin tones that are not their own. Doctors are trained with visual references that often fail Black bodies. That gap has consequences. So I am deciding to build towards changing it. I’m starting with a book. But the larger vision is far beyond that. I want to help build software and medical visualization tools that make Black medical representation impossible to ignore. This is not just about diversity aesthetics, this is about accuracy, education, visibility and better healthcare outcomes. One day, I want a Black child studying medicine anywhere on earth to see themselves fully represented in what they learn. And I believe we can build that future.
