When I newly moved to Ibadan in 2021, I went to ring road all the way from UI I was looking for ShopRite so I could buy my favorite sweet-white bread On my way back on a bike, police stopped me I had this OT right from lag where I created 2 bank accounts (gt and access) one for suspicious balance and the other for lose change - balance doesn’t exceed 20k Anytime I’m stepping out I would delete app of the one with suspicious balance and leave the one with 2k/3k The police started asking questions, where I was coming from and where to I didn’t have students ID yet to prove I was a students, they collected my phone and started searching Asked me to pay bike man and made him leave me there with them After 20 minutes of back and forth, searched and found nothing incriminating they said I look like “one of them” And I should find them something I opened my bank app that I knew they had seen before and show them the balance #1400 As I no see money press, they collected my sweet white bread 😂 stopped another bike for me and ask me to go. I just dey laugh on my way back to school 😂
