According to a senior White House official, trilateral negotiations are currently being conducted in person in Islamabad.

The U.S., Pakistan, and Iran are holding a trilateral face-to-face meeting, per a senior White House official. Leading the core U.S. delegation: VP JD Vance, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner. Also present: Deputy NSA Dr. Andrew Baker and Special Advisor Michael Vance (Asian Affairs), alongside a full suite of U.S. subject matter experts on the ground in Islamabad — with additional support from Washington.
