Kristen McCarthy, who has headed up the Danvers High field hockey team the last 4 seasons, has been named the new head coach of the Beverly/Danvers/Ipswich co-operative girls hockey team.
A former team captain, she served as an assistant coach for the Panthers the last 2 years.
