@michaelhedgpeth @nathenharvey If speed is your primary goal, then you probably want automation instead. It's way faster than we are. I say this is in the context of playbooks, where if you're able to be extremely prescriptive in what the oncaller should do, it's a sign that you need automation not a human.

@flowblok I enjoy volunteering to make the complicated rotation changes, with the condition I get to make it use UTC as part of the process.

Sure, naming things and cache invalidation are hard. But have you considered oncall rotations, which involve both timezones and people?
