Anyone have connections to an organic content savant looking for next big opportunity? We spend millions per year on paid ads now, and would ideally like to do the same on a scalable content machine. Looking for an intro to someone that could be the brains behind that. Current thought is multiple accounts, short & long form YouTube, IG, X… kinda like an in-house barstool type media machine. Secondary goal is views/audience but primary goal is customer acquisition, which requires a slightly different approach than your typical “influencer” content strategy. Person would come up with content strategy, validate ideas one at a time, then build production team to scale it…and move onto testing/launching next idea. (Think: end up with multiple channels with their own ‘branding/faces’.) Hardest part of this will be hitting performance numbers. We can take bets / invest in content that will take time to pay off — but within reason, this will be run like paid ads. Need to hit a certain payback timeframe (ex. spend $50k/mo on content but need to make back a certain “roas” relative to the fixed costs of the team/expenses.) The benefit of this approach is if we get “profitable” (even breakeven) on content we can literally scale spend infinitely the same way we’re spending more on paid ads over time. Will likely require being scrappy early on. I’ve worked with some big YouTube brands before and the slowness/crazy expenses to produce videos and test/iterate new ideas is nuts. Can’t blow money on unnecessary bs. Couple qualifiers: -This person has to have quantifiable previous experience that can be pointed to (ex. “I’ve literally built these YouTube channels & hired/trained/managed the production teams myself.”) -Not looking for consultant or agency. To pull this off, we need it in-house, as this is a long term bet (and goal is to literally scale this exponentially as business grows). Ideally, would treat comp for this like a business partner — id prefer performance based with no cap (ie. revenue-split, and/or equity) plus solid base pay. We could just do straight cash comp but imo the right person for this will want to bet on themselves and have unlimited upside etc. Rn just looking for intro, not rushing into this before finding the right person to lead it.
