QF Network Development Update: February 27, 2025 Today's update focuses on our continued progress implementing SPIN consensus for our testnet environment as well as PolkaVM and smart contract development. SPIN Consensus Implementation -Completed research on the optimal method for validating live messages on Polkadot, evaluating both coretime and parachain approaches. -Published 9 SPIN-related tasks on GitHub (186-188, 192-197), with remaining tasks to be published this weekend. -Elements of SPIN consensus on top of AURA being tested locally. -Progress on defining alive message structure for relay chain communication. PolkaVM Development -Work on PR-25 implementing host-function transfer for PolkaVM smart contracts continues (ticket #143). -Design experiments for next iteration of PVM in progress. -Testnet architecture discussion and solutions proposal completed. Infrastructure -Continued work on fixing PolkaDot telemetry. -Made fixes to REST API implementation for faucet v2 following code review. Upcoming Work -Complete publishing and estimating SPIN-related tasks. -Continue testing and debugging of SPIN protocol implementation. -Finalize alive message structure and fix compilation issues. Reposting my thread two days ago, had dev talk with $OPTR and felt good enough. $EVA - Study strength in slower conditions. I'm bullish on teams that build products I actually use. For me you can either take the risk and buy before the ATH or wait for the breakout and re-test. 3x versus 2x. I don't need to convince you that utility is back, the charts will.
