Hulk (2003) isn’t top-tier Ang Lee, but it’s nowhere near the disaster people made it out to be. The split-screen comic framing, and that willingness to do something different with a superhero film. Way more interesting than its reputation.

Read about Captain Beefheart before I ever heard any of his music and it got built up as being the absolute weirdest, most avant-garde, barely recognizable as music music ever and then I listened and it just sounds like the filler tracks from Exile on Main St.
