I got mfs telling me how *I* should be playing a game *I* paid for with MY money. I dont play Tarkov just so i can join the meta and CAG out, i like the gunplay only and in PvE thats the way i enjoy it, and apparently that makes some PvP players mad

@Sairenix In the past you guys mentioned the performance system was flawed and would be adjusted. The 70k poly limit was put in place to almost ensure that the rest of the stats were met without issue sense the bar was so low for new creators Now with the skills its a hindrance to quality

@Sairenix You make a very valid point, but under the context of game performance poly count doesn't make sense to have as restricted as is (70k). EVERY other restriction experienced creators and i have no problem meeting. Even a measly 30k or 20k increase would go MILES towards helping.

Q: Will performance ranking ever get changed to be less restrictive? Having one or a few stats slightly over the limit shouldn't immediately make an avatar Very Poor. A: Wherever you draw the line, people will stack right up against it. Whether the limit is 70k, 100k, or 200 billion — going one over still hits a boundary and people will always ask "what's the difference between X and X+1?" There was discussion of a Second Life-style point system but that has massive problems of its own. No current plans to loosen the system.

I understand the reason behind not changing performance ranking, and I respect your response to it, but I think a lot of the issue people have with it isnt more so that they wanna move the post a bit with limits, but that the limits don't make sense. Not a lot needs to change, but triangle limits is VERY questionable by far in comparison to a lot of other parts of performance ranking despite it having very little impact.

The meta has changed a lot since Bungie launched Destiny. Activision's marketing machine spent tens of millions hyping that game up. For Marathon, the director is livestream with a guy who pretends to be a peanut to get people to pre-order the game.
