As someone living under a US-backed dictatorship, I can tell you this is how it begins. 2 years and 21 State of Exceptions later, we’re ruled by perpetual martial law with Pentagon bombs, sexual torture, military checkpoints, activists starved, waterboarded or disappeared by soldiers. A little DEA operation turns into the opening of an entire FBI Office in our capital, the military killing protesters at a general strike turned into targeted assassination plots on indigenous labor activists, a few visits from a U.S. Envoy turns into U.S. boots-on-the-ground operations where campesinos are electrocuted. Ecuador has lived all of this already: the hijacking of a once socialist nation literally beat into a Yankee colony. We cannot let it happen to our sister nation of Bolivia too.

💢 BREAKING: Bolivia’s Chamber of Deputies voted to repeal Law 1341, dismantling key legal restrictions that limited the president’s ability to impose a “state of exception” and deploy the military during internal unrest. The law, passed in 2020, capped emergency powers at 60 days, required justification for suspending civil rights, and restricted military force against demonstrations. The repeal comes after four weeks of nationwide protests and road blockades demanding the resignation of President Rodrigo Paz. Supporters say the law prevented authorities from clearing disruptions that have blocked food, fuel, and medical supplies from reaching major cities like La Paz. Human rights groups warn the repeal removes critical safeguards and gives the executive branch sweeping powers to order a military crackdown on protesters by decree.

Statement on the Disaffiliation of LPNH “The resolution to disaffiliate the Libertarian party of New Hampshire was the unfortunate culmination of years of behavior in violation of the Libertarian Party’s platform,” said new LNC Chair Evan McMahon. “These violations reached an impasse, and the previous Libertarian National Committee was unable to reach an armistice with the LPNH. One of my top priorities coming into office was to make it clear that the LNC will adhere to the platform and determine who we will associate with based on those grounds.” Language from the Motion to Disaffiliate LPNH The bylaws are clear that affiliate Parties shall not endorse the candidate of another Party. Despite this, the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire openly and publicly endorsed President Trump during the election in 2024. Furthermore, they have crudely and repeatedly undermined our own candidates and have espoused numerous anti-libertarian positions on a National level. Be it Resolved that because of these reasons and more, the Libertarian National Committee moves to disaffiliate the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire, mandating that they cease and desist the use of the Party name and logo, until such a time as the LNC recognizes a new affiliate in New Hampshire that shares our Party’s foundational values.

@TexanTruckr @jeffersonation1 We don't want to release violent offenders but we do want to release those imprisoned for victimless "crimes", like possession of drugs. We do want open borders though because immigration by peaceful individuals doesn't hurt anyone's life or property.

Trump has easily been the worst president for small businesses in modern history. His massive consumer tariffs have crushed independent merchants while his administration hands endless tax breaks, advantages and contracts to big corporate monopolies and AI data center companies. The fact that the MAGA base genuinely believes he's fighting "communism" while he actively subsidizes corporate socialism is an absolute joke.

Ron Paul got elected as a Republican, but lost as a Libertarian. Gary Johnson got elected as a Republican, but lost as a Libertarian. Same men Same principles. What @LPNH understands but @LPNational fails to grasp, is that people and principles are what matters, not a letter in parentheses after your name on a ballot.
