@north0fnorth Journalistic integrity doesn't exist when it comes to headlines (Twitter and elsewhere). They never seem to match the content of the articles themselves and pander for engagement and fast takes to increase that profit.

@mistergeezy The Episcopal Priest handled it well in the confrontation inside the Church. He was kind, respectful, protected his flock, and was generous in offering Jake time during HIS homily to speak. Jake didn't take that offer. He instead ranted outside like a toddler.

Since we found out we’re having a second daughter, the most common question I’ve been asked is “Are you guys gonna try for a boy?” And, no. I have never cared about which gender my kids were, as long as they’re not assholes. Plus, I love being a girl dad.

@D_Aiche_Jay @wafflesreese Yeah. Unfortunately, Jeff wanted a coach that he could "co-coach" and TSpoon was not that person. He also doesn't seem to believe in any analytics, which explains the 2025 draft picks and signings. The "No one wants to play in Chicago" rap will be hard to overcome.

@Ivyleague843172 What's so sad and frustrating about this to me is that there are multiple college programs in Chicago that are off season when the WNBA on on season that have decent facilities in place. They already share Wintrust with DePaul. One of their sponsors is UChicago Med.

@michelle_byoung I was in the 3/4 mod which was my Religion class. Those metal cart TVs were in the hallway on either side of the floors and everyone watched live. BECAUSE that was my Religion module, we had to pray extra hard that day when we returned to class.

The University of Illinois President testified on Tuesday in the IL Senate that 41% of his students pay no tuition or fees. Who are the students that pay nothing? No one asked in committee. At what rate do they graduate and what do they study? What's their citizenship status? I'm certain 42,000 students (student population 101,000) are not in the ROTC program or are merit scholars with near perfect ACT or SAT scores. So many unanswered questions. Needless to say the university president requested more money for this year's budget. How about start with every student having skin in the game?
