Yes, humans being made in the “image of God” is usually understood to mean rationality, free will, moral capacity, spiritual nature, and the ability for relationship with God.
That image-bearing role is presented as uniquely to humanity in Genesis.
Angels reflect aspects of God’s spiritual nature more than humans do in some ways, but they are not equal to God in knowledge, eternality, or divinity.

@RonLee06762580 @MrCasey62 Also no verses from scripture point to demons being terrified of her.
But if go to multiple testimonies of priests who utilize Mary in exorcisms. They continually say the same thing as “demons tremble and scream when her name is mentioned”.
English

@regzmx @MrCasey62 See... now I'm gonna' need a chapter and verse on this one. Why? Because I'm pretty sure that you made that up...

The only verses that points to her reverence and power is Luke 1:28, the Archangel Gabriel greets Mary:
“Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you.”
This shows even the Archangel Gabriel presents himself not casually but with extreme reverence and honor before Mary.
Luke 1:42–43, Elizabeth says to Mary:
“Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!
And why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?”
these passages can be understood as implying both Mary’s exceptional honor/reverence and a unique spiritual role granted by God.
The interpretation is not: “ Mary is equal to God”
Rather: “God elevated and honored Mary uniquely among humanity, and her intercession carries great spiritual significance because of her union with Christ”
English

Also to point out your heretic rhetoric towards Mary I will point you to scripture once again.
The verse about all generations calling Mary blessed is directly in The Gospel of Luke 1:48.
“For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed.”
So you can keep disrespecting and mocking Jesus eema and doubling down with judgement and condemnation of others who hold her with honor… all of these acts will present itself at your judgement.

@MrCasey62 It absolutely does, the apostles never prayed to Mary, apostle succession is not in scripture wirhout twisting it, praying to dead saints isn't in scripture, works salvation isn't in scripture, etc etc etc
English

keep saying “it’s not in Scripture,” yet a lot of what you reject actually is in Scripture when read in full context instead of through modern anti-Catholic assumptions.
Apostolic succession?
The apostles literally replaced Judas’ office in Acts 1:20–26, showing apostolic authority continued after death. Paul also instructs Timothy to pass teachings on to faithful men who will teach others also in 2 Timothy 2:2. That is succession.
Prayers of the saints?
Revelation 5:8 and Revelation 8:3–4 explicitly show the saints in Heaven presenting prayers before God. The saints are alive in Christ, not “dead”:
“He is not God of the dead, but of the living.” — Luke 20:38
And Catholics do not worship Mary or saints. We ask for their intercession just as Christians ask each other for prayer on earth.
“Works salvation”?
Catholics do not believe we earn salvation apart from God’s grace. But Scripture absolutely teaches faith must produce obedience and works:
“Faith without works is dead.” — James 2:26
“You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.” — James 2:24

@MrCasey62 Lol I debated her this morning and provided multiple facts from scripture. But her only argument was that she did not want converse with AI.
