@ARVaughn1337 But I thought the powers that be said hashtags were going away so now I don't know how else to connect except to post lots of posts with the words 'writing' and 'writer' in them and hope that gets me in the right ecosystem...

None of my writing friends see my posts anymore, but hey! if you see this, if I get to 2K followers I'll beta read a whole novel for someone who comments here. Two of the three writers I've beta read for in the past year got agents, so I think I'm helpful. That's my pitch.

@sddonovan YouTube has these fun ai generated backgrounds with jazz music. There’s a medieval bg that’s cool. Once you’re down the ai bg music rabbit hole on YouTube, you find different settings for the vibe you’re writing!

We all hate writing synopses, right?! But the best advice I’ve ever received from an industry professional is don’t reveal your spoilers and plot twists in the order your reader learns them — state the big reveals upfront. This has been a game changer for me. #WritingCommunity
