@retro_anime Just remembered, they had Robin Shou (from Mortal Kombat) as Goku, and I think Leonardo DiCaprio as Trunks. (This was only a very few years after Titanic came out).

@retro_anime I wish I still had it, but I had a magazine from back then doing the same thing for DragonBallZ. The only parts I remember were Jackie Chan as Master Roshi, Jet Li as Vegeta, and Stone Cold Steve Austen as Nappa. They had others I just can’t for the life of me remember.

@anime_shots @retro_anime I’d say Pokémon, but with the sheer amount of localization when it was first brought here, the series that I saw as Anime that got me into it would have been “Tenchi Muyo”. The series that made me start buying manga was “Rurouni Kenshin”.

What anime got you into anime?

@televisionaryZW The first few seasons are really pretty good, it just keeps Flanderizing it’s characters more and more.

11359. The Big Bang Theory “The Guitarist Amplification” - Wow, I really appreciated Sheldon’s arc in this, not being able to deal with couples arguing. I’m the same way if for different reasons. This show is better than its reputation, at least so far as season 3. (B+)
