Kimi 2.5 is almost unusable on Hermes via @OpenRouter Gets stuck all the time. When asked to report back, says it's done. Is extremely slow. Is it the model or the harness?

The new X app on Android that I was told to switch to is absolute dog shit. Videos don't work properly in full screen. Selecting text is impossible. Wtf.

@komondc @danliu I think this means you have to spend over 70 for the discount to be applicable

@danliu Maybe I'm getting it wrong, but is not discounting 25% of orders bigger than $70 but discounting 25% of the amount of money over $70, so if you buy $90 you would only get a 25% over the extra $20, so it's a $5 discount for a $90 order. So it's even worse if I'm reading it right.

Going forward, is it fair to assume that every somewhat longer piece of text is generated with AI assistance?

@buccocapital The fact that they are talking to each other and not past each other is so refreshing. @PalmerLuckey could have been "you just dumb bro" but he didn't and gave him a proper provable experiment to run is awesome.

@gabriberton Does he make the point himself? He says Most criminals are not that smart but once they have access to the tech for $20/month why would they pick another line of work instead of spending their time looking for vulnerabilities from their mom's basement?

Super interesting take from one of the greatest hackers He says Mythos is not as good as they claim, because zero-day vulnerabilities are not that hard to find for skilled hackers I'm far from the hacking world but sounds reasonable Any thought?

@jsnnsa I am confused as to why they did not compare it to opus 4.6 solo. A smart man with a smarter advisor works "slightly" better than a smart man alone isn't that impressive to me.

apparently one of the highest revenue yc companies is a match making app doing like a ~$1m a month in revenue & it’s not a dating app. it uses ai to match women for friendship with other women due to loneliness which is very fascinating because bumble needed to lean into this hardcore but obviously failed in all facets of business for the past like ~6 years. kinda ironic since the zeitgeist narrative from the mainstream is always about men’s loneliness.

@Dannyjokes I bought a full tank of gas the day before the 20% crash. What's worse is that for the last 2 weeks I kept filling a quarter tank knowing something like this could happen any day.

When someone you love offers a bid for connection, you say yes every time. When someone sends you an article, a video, a funny post, it’s a bid for connection. They are trying to connect with you. When someone shares details about their day, their life, their thoughts, or their feelings with you, that is a bid for connection. They want to connect with you on a deeper level. They are trying to pull you into their world. If you love them, you say yes every time. Yes, even if the article they send is not particularly interesting to you. Yes, even if it means listening to them ramble about a game you don’t care about and think is stupid. Yes yes yes. And let’s hope they always say yes to your bids, too. — Unknown
