Pournelle's Iron Law of Bureaucracy states that in any bureaucratic organization there will be two kinds of people: First, there will be those who are devoted to the goals of the organization. Examples are dedicated classroom teachers in an educational bureaucracy, many of the engineers and launch technicians and scientists at NASA, even some agricultural scientists and advisors in the former Soviet Union collective farming administration. Secondly, there will be those dedicated to the organization itself. Examples are many of the administrators in the education system, many professors of education, many teachers union officials, much of the NASA headquarters staff, etc. The Iron Law states that in every case the second group will gain and keep control of the organization. It will write the rules, and control promotions within the organization. Progressives have found a way to insert themselves into nearly every institution as the second group. La Leche, the AMA, the ACLU, and many others. Now we see that they have fully captured the EFF. If you send regular donations or funding to this cause, stop immediately.

This one frustrates me, because at first Massie seems like he advances libertarian positions. But then after a while you realize he's one of the influencer class of politicians who say shocking things for clicks and fund raising. It's frustrating because a lot of what he advocates makes sense and there aren't enough libertarian voices in congress. But he should not be held above reproach. Anyway, I'm still here man.

I am totally disgusted at the lies that are told in the entire realm of H1B visa world. the lies media and politicians have fed us. Lie #1: These are only for highly specialized positions which cannot be filled by US citizens. Today I found 6 Elementary school teacher H1B visas certified in Rocky Mount, NC. And the wages are 47K-52K. I firmly believe, and I may not be convinced otherwise, that we should have no foreign nationals in our education system. @dogwoodblooms what do you think about this? Aren't there enough Citizens to teach that we don't need H1B Visa holders? I am P*ssed off.
