@binghach @RicFinlay I just thought with some of those huge first innings totals when they batted for 2 days would of had a couple more on. Maybe that's it the batsmen only batted once where bowlers were bowling twice

Ken Hinkley has already given more real, tangible insight in 8 minutes of football than most commentators did the entire year last season. There’s definitely a place for pure colour commentary to give us a feeling of being there on the ground but boy it’s refreshing to be learning and understanding in real time #AFL

I don’t get this “North have ruined the W rhetoric” They’ve won 1 premiership. Yes they haven’t lost in nearly two seasons, but this is a team who everyone could see was building to this for a few years. They added in the final few jigsaw pieces (hello Libby Birch) and it all clicked for them at a time when both Melbourne and Adelaide started to drop off & they had more hunger than Brisbane in 2024. This is also a club whose VFL team has gone B2B, so it’s clearly the best women’s program in the land. The top and bottom of the ladder doesn’t lie as to what clubs have pushed resources into their women’s programs and which haven’t. It’s up to other clubs to get to North’s level. Not for North to drop down.
