ON THE DEAD LADY IN MINNEAPOLIS I think it's 60-40. In the death of this woman in Minneapolis. I think the ICE agent is responsible for 60 percent of it and the Democrat politicians are responsible for 40 percent of it. The woman is Renee Nicole Good. She was 37. She had lived in Minneapolis for about a year. Her children are 15, 12 and 6. Her second husband, a veteran and the father of the 6-year-old, died a couple of years ago. And now she is dead. Because a cop was trigger happy and the progressives were bloodthirsty. First, the progressives. This woman, like so many young white women, had been radicalized by a political movement and a political party intent on dividing this country and vilifying their opponents. Across the country, Democrat politicians and activists have organized efforts to obstruct and harass immigration enforcement by federal officers. There are Democrat apps that tell Democrat activists where ICE officers are and how to interrupt their efforts. Phone trees have been organized, and groups of radicalized Democrats shadow federal law-enforcement officers, to impede them and frustrate the doing of their duty. They confront the officers, they shout vile profanities at them, they block their vehicles in traffic, they try to get in their way, they aid illegal aliens in evading the officers. And that's what was happening yesterday. A group of Democrats were trying to box in ICE agents. One of those was Renee Nicole Good. She put her family SUV in the middle of the street, to block a law-enforcement vehicle. The governor had vilified ICE agents, the mayor had vilified ICE agents, every Democrat politician within sight of a TV camera had vilified ICE agents. And a young mother fell for it. She believed them. She believed it was a war. That democracy was ending. That it was all about racism. That it was her duty and her right to resist. Or America was going to end. She believed Schumer, she believed Harris, she believed Hochul, she believed Pelosi, she believed them all. Every activist, every entertainer, every jackass on the evening news. She was part of the revolution, she was standing up to Trump, she was being the change she wanted to see in the world. And there she was, blocking the street, in the family SUV, while the kids were at school. When they told her to move, she didn't. When they told her to get out, she didn't. When they tried to open her door, she pulled away. And breathed her last. Moments later she would be at rest, slumped over, after rolling into a parked car, blood and brains on the airbag. That blood is on Democrat hands. When you light the fire, you can't be surprised when people get burned. When you sew chaos, you reap the whirlwind. When you tell people to storm the ramparts, it's on you what happens as a result. The Democrats have radicalized their followers, and that has led to this tragedy. That, and the actions of the officer. The use of deadly force in this situation does not seem reasonable. It seems apparent the woman was trying to flee, not run down the officer. That is born out by the fact that he was not struck. And he was not struck because she cranked her wheel to the right -- away from him and toward the street -- before he shot her in the head, killing her instantly. With her dead behind the wheel, the car continued as she had last directed it, not toward him, but to the right of him. Without extraordinary effort, he was able to get out of the car's path, seemingly demonstrating that his life was not in jeopardy. The government has said that he was struck -- on his trailing foot? -- and was treated at the hospital. That does not seem consistent with video evidence which shows him in the moments after the incident, walking and acting in a completely normal fashion with no sign of impairment, injury or pain. The officer used deadly force, firing three times, in the face of a vehicle approaching in such a fashion that allowed the officer a relatively easy escape. It was a disproportionate and unnecessary response. And it's a tragedy, because three kids lost their mom. Because we have turned our politics into a blood sport, seeking to subvert law and interfere with its enforcers. The Democratic Party has put its supporters into the streets, in a slow-motion insurrection actively opposing the rule of law. That put a mom where she shouldn't have been, facing a cop who made a decision he shouldn't have made. And instead of learning from this, and stepping back, and trying to regain our Christian and civil composure, now we're arguing over who's at fault, calling each other the same hateful names that led to this tragedy in the first place.

Today, ICE officers in Minneapolis were conducting targeted operations when rioters began blocking ICE officers and one of these violent rioters weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them—an act of domestic terrorism. An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers. The alleged perpetrator was hit and is deceased. The ICE officers who were hurt are expected to make full recoveries.   This is the direct consequence of constant attacks and demonization of our officers by sanctuary politicians who fuel and encourage rampant assaults on our law enforcement who are facing 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats.  This is an evolving situation, and we will give the public more information as soon as it becomes available.
