@JonHeyman @NYPost_Mets He is an outstanding hire. Had the pleasure of meeting him at a few coaches clinics. He is a wealth of knowledge and a great person.

@Seahawks HC Mike MacDonald NEVER played football beyond HS. His team is in the NFC Championship. Pretty cool!
Just because you played, doesn’t mean you can coach. If you did NOT play, doesn’t mean you can’t coach. He’s not the only one of course.

Congratulations to Liam O’Connor and Brandon Beauchamp for being named Honorable mention for the large school All State team. Liam is only a junior.
Thank you for all those who voted for our guys.

Dear Hauppauge Baseball Community,
After much thought, I have made the difficult decision to resign from my varsity baseball assistant coach position with Hauppauge Baseball. This program has been a major part of my life for many years, and stepping away is not easy, but I know it is the right time.
I want to sincerely thank Josh Gutes and Dan Butler for their leadership, trust, and support throughout my time here. Coaching alongside Josh has been an honor, and I am grateful for everything we accomplished together.
To all my former players—thank you. You gave us everything you had, every season, every practice, every inning. Watching you grow as athletes and young men has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Josh, no matter where life takes us, we will always share the bond of being Long Island Champions. That title, and what it represents, will stay with us forever.
Hauppauge Baseball will always hold a special place in my heart. I am proud of what we built and excited to watch the program continue to grow and succeed.
Thank you for the memories, the battles, and the brotherhood.
With gratitude,
Chris Diesso
