Earlier this week some former coworkers of mine tweeted in opposition to the East Solano Plan and immediately got dogpiled by a bunch of blue checks calling them NIMBYs or worse. I think that's utterly disgraceful. (2/6)

@stevenmaviglio A couple notes: -The piece you cite notes that substance use is bidirectional (as did one of the sources that I cite) -I'm unsure why surveying local officials on their perception of the root causes is supposed to be more reliable than doing statistical causal inference. (cont)
