@jackrwilkie The passage states its through Christ not water baptism. Would you agree that if you are outside of Christ you do not have the Holy Spirit?

"Baptized into Christ" (Romans 6:3) implies that you are outside of Christ before baptism.

If you can lose eternal life then it wasn't eternal to begin with.
