One of the first authors of Apple /// software, and games in particular - Al Evans - had a trove of his disks imaged, and is sharing them. Apple /// enthusiasts everywhere can see what the zenith of development looked like in 1982:

@CHLThor Audio is tough to encode in a small space, so there's definitely not much hanging around on 5-1/4" floppies.

@retrofloppy The file formats the software produces are another fun one to manage. Luckily there are some good filters out there for conversion. As long as they don’t have audio embedded! What other WP software had that feature in the 1980’s?

Looking into another #fileformat with a .DOC extension. IBM DisplayWrite is a unique DOS format. During installation, I was given a choice of right or left handed mouse config, haven't seen that before. #digipres

@MatthewBogart Yes. I know a guy. And it's going to cost a small fortune to ship, too. The sandcast heatsink of a case is not to be trifled with.

@clockworkquill Happy to be of service. Rescuing floppies is always a Race Against Time!

When shipping disks to us - a 4 pound book isn't necessary for protection. Just a layer of cardboard will do! #howtoship

@furahi - alive and well. IBM Datamaster (EBCDIC) 8" disks was the latest project. Not much time for Twitter's 140 characters, though.
