Well, I’ve never been to Spain, but I’ve been to Oklahoma... UNTIL THIS WEEK IN MADRID. And I’ve got to tell you, I think the best way to experience a European city is to go to a fútbol match. Tonight’s Champions League semifinal between Atlético and Arsenal was electric. And what better company than His Majesty King Felipe VI and Madrid Mayor José Luis Martínez-Almeida? I also loved spending time with my friend Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski.

@kevinwatson Thanks for a great post Kevin. The people of Ada laid on hands to ordain me. An elder from another denomination helped lead the service. If I’m honest I struggle with my ordination being “legit.” Old habits/polity die hard I guess.

I use this platform to “take in” stuff and not “dish out.” However, I cannot sit by and say nothing about the lack of integrity, honor and basic human dignity expressed by our President about the deaths of Rob Reiner and his wife. Simply put: abhorrent and disgusting.

I have zero Twitter following. I have zero influence outside the church I pastor (and who knows if I have any there). But I’m mustering all my energy and directing @davidfholt and the @okcthunder to bring Chris Paul to OKC to finish his career since @LAClippers sent him home.

@gmccortney What a great thought provoking post Greg. I’d still say the government is failing in its duties for a whole long list of reasons but cannot argue your point. We’ve allowed government to assume roles it shouldn’t have.

The fact that a government shutdown could lead to people going hungry is a reflection on a failure of Christians and the Church more than a failure of the government. As Christians, this should have always been our job. We should have never given it to the government.
