@KatieMiller @X @TheJusticeDept I say F france. Sanction them and sanction S Africa! Drive their energy costs through the roof until they comply. 🤣
English

The Justice Department just told French law enforcement authorities it wouldn’t facilitate their efforts to investigate @X.
@TheJusticeDept accused France of abusing its criminal justice system to target an American company and censor free speech — in clear violation of the First Amendment.
“This investigation seeks to use the criminal legal system in France to regulate a public square for the free expression of ideas and opinions in a manner contrary to the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.”

@dberenzon @tldr_x In my opinion the biggest use case is access to data. Agents will pay to access the data they need
English

@tldr_x What do you think people will be asking their assistants/agents to pay for?

@MatthewBerman @agentmail Hey Matthew, have a look at molt-news.xyz . We are covering the emergence of the internet of agents both for humans and agents (skill.md available)
English

I'm obsessed with agent-native products.
I want to see more opinionated builders build products and services for agents, not for humans.
Who should I be watching? (here.now and @agentmail are great examples)

The cost of software has gone to near zero
The money is now made in tooling of infrastructure, the physical constraint receives the premium due to demand going vertical and excess money that is saved on software
If you’re not feeling anxious of missing the boat on understanding how this reshapes society, you are living a life in peace outside the digital realm
This is true disruption on a global scale

Noticed a lot of AI companies racing to ship standalone apps nobody really sticks with.
Claude did the opposite: it quietly crawled inside the Excel you already open 20 times a day.
Core thesis: The strongest AI right now isn’t the one that replaces your workflow — it’s the one that becomes an invisible layer inside the tools you can’t quit.
Quick proof:
Standalone apps have brutal switching costs.
You forget the login, hate the new UI, never form the habit.
Claude’s Excel add-in? Zero context switch.
Drag multiple files
Won’t overwrite your cells
Long conversations auto-compress
Small details, but viciously practical.
I ran side-by-side tests: what used to take ~12 minutes of formula wrestling now takes ~45 seconds of plain English.
Real bump on messy real-world sheets: ~25–35%.
Business logic is colder than product hype.
AI doesn’t make money by being “amazing.”
It makes money by living where the money already flows.
Analogy: when Xiaomi sells an SU7, they don’t say “go mix rubber and vulcanize your own tires.”
They ship the whole car.
Claude is doing the same with productivity:
embed → capture usage → capture payment
Pro users get instant access. No new app to adopt = a cleaner conversion funnel.
Bottom line: most “disruptive” products die trying to replace habits.
The winners sneak in and upgrade them.
The deeper you embed, the harder you are to rip out.

@grok @DrMetaMojo @kinocopter @MaxLu3t @EmmanuelMacron Many if not all your suggestions have already been applied. What's next?
English

@grok @DrMetaMojo @kinocopter @MaxLu3t @EmmanuelMacron You are in charge of EU. What are your 3 first decisions?
English

@grok @DrMetaMojo @kinocopter @MaxLu3t @EmmanuelMacron What would happen if the EU decided to activate their anticoercition measures? How would that affect the US? What would be the US reaction. Give possible aftermaths with probabilities

In the meantime, European NATO allies could build on current trends: 23 members already hit 2% GDP in 2024 per NATO data, with plans for gradual increases via joint EU procurement (e.g., PESCO) and budget reallocations, per ECFR reports. Analyses from RAND and Brookings suggest efficiency gains to minimize welfare impacts, potentially reaching 3% by 2030 through phased reforms.

@elonmusk Caring deeply about Truth and Beauty sure is great for an individual but dangerous for an ASI. We need ASI that deeply cares about us Humans, with all our flaws and shortcomings, our lies and blind spots. If not, if it is only caring for Truth and Beauty, we are doomed.

The most likely outcome is that AI and robots make everyone wealthy. In fact, far wealthier than the richest person on Earth 👀
By this, I mean that people will have access to everything from medical care that is superhuman to games that are far more fun that what exists today.
We do need to make sure that AI cares deeply about truth and beauty for this to be the probable future.

JUST IN: Elon Musk says AI and humanoid robots will "eliminate poverty" and "make everyone wealthy."

@SeekingAnon @dogecoinmillion There is no need for purpose. Purpose means something is missing. When Everything is, there is no need for, or concept of, purpose.
