@GoldenKnightGFX So wanting to go from a left handed/ left side lay up to a right hand or right hand layup isn’t a basketball play. Yeah alright 😂😂😂

I asked JJ Redick about this and whether or not he has also shown tape from his playing days on defense to his team. He said there has been only one time, and it was in a clip featuring LeBron James on offense with JJ defending him. “The only clip I've ever shown the team was, we were not taking charges to start the year, my first year, last year, and I wanted to get the guys incentivized to understand the importance of taking charges and using that as a means of rim protection. So I showed a clip of me taking a charge on LeBron, catching his spoon move, and it was his left elbow that went into my eye, and I got nine stitches and a concussion, but that's the one clip I've ever shown them.”

JJ Redick, as a player, was known as a sharpshooter, but as a coach of the Lakers, early on, his identity has been more on the defensive end. I asked Mark Daigneault what stands out about Redick’s defensive schemes, and he ended up praising Redick’s defense, offering some unique background information. “I might’ve shown film of him to players before. He was a great court-balance guy. He executed every coverage. He's physical. So I actually think as a player, he had a defensive DNA, even though his top skill was as a shooter. That’s certainly translated to his coaching.” Mark mentioned how Redick was sort of the prototype for how you need to defend a shooter, bringing up his days with the 76ers and the Magic, and playing under Stan Van Gundy.

This is what I’ve said about Bronny since 2019. This is the role he mastered at Sierra Canyon. This is exactly what made him such a unique prospect in terms of evaluation. I’ve been telling the world this is where he’s greatest at, and that it’s valuable to an NBA team, especially with a 55th overall pick. He can round out the edges of your 5 man lineup and find ways to be impactful/productive/disruptive and mold seamlessly to whoever’s on the court. You saw it at Sierra Canyon. You saw it at USC. You’re seeing it in these playoffs. Who said this would happen? I did. For years. You have to have talent to see talent.

THIS IS ABSOLUTE COMEDY 😭 Trump 🇺🇸: I met the owner of Toyota who is 92 years old, in Japan and said 'You are Rich' and then he agreed to invest $10B in US Fun Fact 🚨: The owner of Toyota died in 2023 & the current CEO is aged only 65 y/o 🤣🤣 How does he manage to lie almost everything he speaks?

Mike: You have 4 steals that’s part of the key to the turnovers I think 22 forced on them. 12 points in the 4th. What was the defensive effort required for that? — Luka off camera: Luka was locking shit up Austin: Yea that was it. That’s who gets all the credit 😂😂

Kobe’s 62-point game against the Mavs before his 81-point game was my favorite. He single-handedly outscored a Dallas team that would go on to play in the NBA Finals through three quarters before sitting out the entire fourth quarter. I love Brian Shaw's story about that game.
