I don't want a 1:1 adaptation like many.
A RE movie should have a group of survivors during RE2, zombies and BOWs, focusing more into the dynamics between survivors, small info on what could have happened.
I think Cloverfield is the closest to what a good RE movie should feel.

The whole takes place during "RE2" feels like a lie, trailer shows snow, iphones, fast zombies, mutations not present during that timeframe.
It's prob going to be a great movie considering the director trackrecord, but they don't have to lie to us and call it Resident Evil..

@DiscussingFilm and don't get me wrong, the whole premise of happening between 2 and 3 is amazing, it could have been a great adaptation, kinda like an outbreak game movie, don't get why people get mad at fans saying this looks good but it's not RE.

This looks great, and hopefully does well, but sucks that has to be named Resident Evil when the essence of the game is not here.

@notch I agree. The issue is that in recent years, most of the Dev teams use it as a way to compensate the lack of optimization in their game engine. And NVIDIA has allowed this by transforming DLSS from a Power efficient solution to a solution for people that don't do their job.

So either ADOR didn't want her back and forced her out, or she has the money to pay up front to be free. But by the looks of it she was forced out.
