Fiona states that Zimbabwean wetlands are seasonal. She also spoke on the continuous decrease of wetlands which is a global problem due to several issues which include overpopulation and the dependence on wetlands for water. The secretary general of the Wetlands Convention, Dr Musonda Mumba noted that the #COP15 conference is still under valued and and under financed. She said that it was important that wetlands should be at the center of biodiversity.
