@hirbod @kzzzf @swmansion I have had this issue in my newly built app and have currently fixed it by using onPressIn instead of onPress which I don’t think is an optimal solution 😣 Am going try out Pressable from RNRH and see how it works

onPressIn triggers, but onPress doesn’t. Removing fitToContents makes onPress work, but we’ve also seen cases where it was unrelated (like in headerLeft). Also, CC @kzzzf @swmansion—the workaround with RNGH pressables is fine; it’s a better component anyway!

If you run into weird issues with Pressable on Fabric, it’s because it’s literally broken on Android. Sometimes it’s when used as an Animated component (fixed in REA 4.0 nightly), but sometimes it’s just Pressable itself. Using RectButton from RNGH will fix it for now!

From react-native 0.77 there is no more console.log in metro - they have been moved to dev tools... I personally dislike this change, what is your opinion about this?
