The University of New Hampshire Survey Center released poll results on Tuesday that showed Gov. @MassGovernor @maura_healey beating all three Republican gubernatorial candidates in one-on-one matchups by at least 27 points. In a contest between Healey and former MBTA administrator @ShortsleeveMA, 58% of respondents say they’d vote for Healey and 28% favored Shortsleeve. @MikeMinogueABMD received support from 27% of respondents to Healey’s 56%. And 28% of respondents said they would vote for former Secretary of Housing and Economic development @MikeKennealy with 55% preferring Healey. 51% percent of respondents approved of Healey’s job performance with 40% disapproving.

This is unacceptable. When I served as Secretary of Housing and Economic Development, we created 230,000 private-sector jobs, and Massachusetts led New England in economic growth. We proved what’s possible with the right leadership and a clear focus on results. We can get back to that. But it will take a new Governor – one focused squarely on affordability, economic growth, and restoring the freedom for businesses to invest and families to thrive. Massachusetts doesn’t have to decline. We just need leadership that knows how to build.
