Resend is a wrapper on top of Amazon SES. SPF records point to amazonses.com and email headers confirm it. They add a nicer dev-friendly API, React email components, templates, webhooks, and analytics. SES: $0.10 per 1k emails. Resend Pro: $20/mo for 50k emails (~$0.40 per 1k). ~4x the cost for convenience, not literally "just" SES but close. Markup is more like 300%.

@urieltannen I think it was downstream at Netlify for me. If your Cloudflare apex CNAME is flattened to a *.netlify.app subdomain, it can just silently stop resolving. The record showed in the dashboard but dig returned nothing. Repointing the apex at apex-loadbalancer.netlify.com fixed it for me.

One of you should build a reeeaaaally good email service that's just the API. So IMAP but also something more fancy like Gmail's or Fastmail's JMAP. Make it super fast, super reliable, sorta cheap.
Make it easy to build fun stuff without the hassle of running email servers.

@jespr @nateberkopec I curl a bootstrap script straight into bash. 🙈 It installs homebrew as the first thing, then git and ansible via homebrew. After that ansible takes care of everything else. Works pretty well. Next step up would probably be Nix, but haven't bothered with that so far.

Any irregular shape will autoscale into the new roundrect icon shape with a border around it. Many app icons will have to be remade. #WWDC25
