My opinion on consensus: if all of the NFL teams started following Rams/Jags, “consensus” disappears. The whole draft analyst/pundits and mock draft scene disappears. All these people upset about it wouldn’t have jobs, now they’re gaslighting the Jags and their fans.

The part about the Jags’ process here certainly doesn’t align with a FO that I’d consider incompetent. The Jags don’t appear to do very much that aligns w/ NFL group think or consensus. That scares the keepers of status quo and that’s a tale as old as time.
