I don’t think it can be understated that the AKME era of Bulls basketball might have been the worst in the modern era. They started out saying they will draft and develop then in the very same season traded for Vooch.
NONE of their moves made sense to not just local media and fans but NBA Insiders everywhere. The plan to go athletic, regardless of play style in drafting, and trying to refurbish players whose’s careers were already knowable made them look like they were the smartest people in the room when actually no one was in the room. They were unreachable when questions needed to be answered and often left Billy out to dry to answer. And when they were available we were all left in awe of not knowing what was said. The organization needs to wash themselves of this and actually make a hire that will lead to respect and tangible results.

NFL concluded today that Chiefs WR Rashee Rice “has not engaged in conduct that violates the personal conduct policy” and the investigation into accusations from his former girlfriend is now closed; there will be no discipline at this time. Statement from his attorney Sean Lindsey: “Mr. Rice wants to thank the NFL for their thorough investigation, and looks forward to the start of the 2026-27 NFL season.”
