That time of the year when many #Pune folks start looking at 'TMC' (Thousand Million Cubic-Feet) readings for dam storages. Current status at the Khadakwasla cluster (K'wasla, Panshet, Temghar, Varasgaon) that supplies to PMC: 33% (9.3 TMC). Pawana: 27% (PCMC), Mulshi: 33%. These levels are quite healthy, looking at past years' data. However, this year water conservation and proper distribution will be especially important - given the below normal monsoon forecast. [Note - 'TMC' is the old British measurement system, still somewhat in vogue in popular media. Official data by the water resources departments is measured in the metric system - 'MMC' (million cubic meters)]

@appocalyppsse I will say no one knows how to create new cities, towns and develop them as hubs so that every other person from rural or semi urban area don't have to come to cities for work. Over concentration of development will always leed to destruction no matter how good the plan is

@Flexx_Media There is a hype amongst MH UPSC and MPSC aspirants to come to Pune for coaching. I am doubtful how fruitful it has been for them. Suddenly the number of aspirants has skyrocketed in last 5 years. I sense something sketchy there.
