Hot take: I actually am against casting non-white people to play popular fictional characters until these studios have actionable plans to protect black people cast in these roles. I do not enjoy experiencing the digital lynching that occurs every 3 months as a cast is announced.

@GraceRandolph Im surprised i havent seen more on the fact that having a trans actor fill the role would possibly put a target on them in South Korea and make them a target for harassment and violence. Id rather the character be portrayed well and makes strides than put trans people at risk.

In my opinion, one of Obama's biggest missteps was branding it as "Obamacare." This immediately polarized people who disliked Obama, turning them against it purely because of the name. If it had been called something like "Free Healthcare for All," it likely would have been received much more positively.

People are breaking down on TikTok because they just realized Obamacare *is* the Affordable Care Act. The heartbreaking part? So many have pre-existing conditions. One man admitted he voted for Trump without knowing it was Obamacare that allowed his mother with stage 4
