At #ASH25 looking forward to meeting @bloodcancer_uk researchers and hearing about the latest advancements in blood cancer research. Excited for some expected groundbreaking results that will transform patients outcomes. Great to be here with some of the @bloodcancer_uk team.

Myeloma is a hard to treat blood cancer, but survival rates have doubled over the past two decades, thanks to new treatments developed through research. But we need to ensure this progress continues! We know it takes dedicated teams of researchers and more funding for research.

Fascinating work from Lynn Quek’s team supported by @BloodCancer_Res. Cells from clonal haematopoiesis with p53 mutations show abnormal regulation of oxidative stress. This may be a mechanism for selection of these clones and explain metabolic disorders in patients. #ASH24
