They've studied groups around the world with unusually long lifespans, and their diets are all over the place.
In Okinawa, where they eat a lot of fish, vs Sardinia, with their focus on vegetables and red wine.
This makes me think that diet might not be as important for longevity as people often claim.

Mine is mostly: the studies against meat are mostly done on unhealthy ppl eating processed meat not fit people eating free roaming happy cow/chicken
And that cholestrol seems to be one indicator that makes sense to track for obese people, not for fit people (source: my dad, a cardiologist)
But you ppl have better data on this probably?

hey man, i've read a lot of your tweets on general health (whole foods, no added sugar) -- but have been reading more and more books on general health that suggest plant based diets are better for health (not for building muscle really) got anywhere you can point me books wise to how you got to understand what is best for your body, or was is mostly just experimenting personally? im a little lost the more i look into it
