The point is to use your picks to get players you know instead of players you dont. “don’t trade your picks bc we want to try our luck on drafting X player” is a doom strategy

@richardhtx @BinkleyHoops the Rockets don't have depth, they don't have shooters. if they had a good roster, I will be good for them to go in all-in mode, be realistic Kawhi or Donovan Mitchell won't make you win a title or even can get you out of the west.
They don't need to act now because it's doomed

I would be pretty shocked if this 2027 Brooklyn pick is still with the Rockets by next season's trade deadline.

@BinkleyHoops they won't win now, they must get this objective off the charts, unless a top 5 player is becoming available their best chance is to continue to develop this core and hoping to hit a franchise player in the next drafts.

@NorthFultonJP @Dhaneye @MLSMoves It forces owners to atleast attempt to spend money if they want the fans to show up and make money. You do know when the teams are terrible they still make money. It prevents teams from tanking a season to go for a certain player in drafts
