@LFCZA Part of the cycle I think - the main regret or perhaps frustration is *that* team didn’t dominate as much as it should have, or would have but for City and their endless spending power. It does feel like the end of an era. But at some point it’ll come back around…I hope

There is a lot being said about Robbie and Mo but I don't think those who are in their teens, 20s, or early 30s (perhaps) truly appreciate the era that ends this weekend. As someone in his mid 40s, I grew up extremely frustrated with our success (or lack thereof). What we had with Klopp, Salah, Firmino, Salah, Mane, Robbo, Trent, Fabinho, Alisson and Van Dijk were probably the best I've ever known us to be. We had the most amazing team, likeable players who were world class. This weekend continues the end of that, and it's extremely saddening for me. Sad because these were our heroes for the past decade, but also because I just cannot relate /identify with the current (new) crop. I hope they prove me wrong, but my worry is that the good times have gone.

It’s proper hard to see what Slot’s ‘vision’ is here with the team and tactics. Persevering week after week with the likes of Gakpo and a midfield continually bypassed. So passive and relying on moments of brilliance rather than structured success. Get rid TBH
