@seriousposterr I had this and realized the cron was spamming my conversation. It was taking Most of the context. I removed all cron from OpenClaw and created a separate tool to manage any cron like needs for openclaw. No issues after that.

Am I the only one getting absolutely trash memory and trash compaction when using openclaw? Memory turned on too. Driving me nuts. My agent has no recollection every 5 messages.

I just created a service that would monitor all of my tools and make sure they were running. I only provide Moltbot one interface. That way we’re not using the Moltbot cron. Which also fills up the lines sent to the AI query! I was getting nonsense back from my chats and realized my cron usage was filling up the context! It also has an API to run all tools so the tools.MD is super simple. One ring to rule them all!

heads up, clawdbot / moltbot: the built-in cron trigger LLM inference every time it fires. if you're running checks every 30 min, that's 48 API calls/day minimum. moved mine to system cron with scripts that only ping the agent when there's actual updates

@openclaw with @xai is a game changer. Larger context window with 2 million tokens and a stricter adherence to MD file. So much better than the alternatives. You know who you are.

I had to bro. Also Clawdbot tip, if you’re using telegram, you just need to use a Google API or an OpenAI API to index all the chats so that when it packs the context every 200,000 tokens, it can remember the whole conversation. Make sure to have it update Agent.MD it was so annoying to have it forget the conversation and then forcing it to re-go through the chat. Also switch 4.5 Opus to 4.5 sonnet, it can do the agentic tasks just as good and it’s 5x Cheaper per token and 2-3x faster.

Crazy? Funny? Both at the same time. I don’t know how I feel about this interaction with @openclaw
